Introduction

Pivot re-piping is a cost-effective way to upgrade a tired or aging pivot system without replacing the entire irrigator.

This typically involves the full replacement of all span pipes and joints. At the centre point, the top elbow, riser column, and bottom elbow are also replaced. During re-assembly, new flange gaskets, nuts and bolts, goosenecks, and flex boots are used to complete the re-pipe process.

Over time, pivot span pipes can wear, corrode, leak, or become less efficient. Re-piping gives your existing system a new lease on life by replacing the old pipework with quality new span pipes and components.

When Should You Consider Re-Piping?

Common Signs Include:

Leaks or visible corrosion

Uneven water distribution

Aging pipework

Increasing system downtime

Reduced water pressure

Frequent repairs

Ongoing maintenance issues

If the main structure and drive system are still in good condition, re-piping can be a smart way to extend the life of your existing pivot.

Is Your System Due for an Upgrade?

You may need to consider pivot re-piping if your system is showing signs of age, wear, or declining performance.
